The best story of all is about how Gran found her magic carpet bag – or did the bag find her?

Chrissie Shaw (Bijou, Flotsam and Jetsam, A Sweeter Fern – That’s Red!) brings the tale to life as the larger than life Gran and pulls the entire show out of her giant red handbag – which seems to have a life of its own.
With storytelling, songs, and puppetry, Gran takes us on a fun adventure full of twists and turns.
You never know where the story will go next.
GRAN’S BAG is a heartwarming and funny show by Greg Lissaman and Chrissie Shaw
which plays twice daily in the first week of the September school holidays.
Full of wonderful songs and stories as well as endearing puppets, it will captivate kiddies (and their grans!)

Bruno Aloi was a local government official and family man compelled to help police arrest army deserters – deserters who were relatives. What happens when you must arrest kin?

This is the true story of Sydneysider Valentino Musico's great-grandfather during WW1 Italy, a story Valentino researched by visiting Italian State Archives in Calabria, a story now re-told for the stage with five glorious actors and the timescoping 8 metre wide canvas of designer Vince Vozzo.

This gender neutral production revives the acclaimed 2015 King Street Theatre production.

Sydney Fringe Festival’s kids’ program to leave audiences thinking "What the ...?"!!

Their show blends the world of ‘cardistry’ (playing card manipulation) with speed-cubing (Rubik’s Cubes)
as they challenge the world speed-cubing record, live on stage. Breathtaking, speed magic that will blow your mind!

Lucas Itrawan and Ash Hodgkinson (together "CARDISTRY") may be just 15 years old but are already seasoned professionals on the Australian entertainment circuit.
Starting out busking in Sydney's Pitt Street mall when they were just 11, they went on to be crowned
Australian Junior Magic Champions at the age of 12 and at the ripe old age of 13 starred in their own sell out show at the 2015 Melbourne Magic Festival, being voted "Runner Up Most Popular Show".

Earlier this year they won the open Comedy and Magic division of Short+Sweet and ABC-TV has picked them for a feature later this year to be screened across the network.
In November – together with mentor and famous Australian Magician Adam Mada - they are off to India
to perform a series of three theatre shows as guests of the Australian High Commission.

The boys have appeared multiple times on national television including studio10.
This all-new show comes direct from fully sold-out run at the Melbourne Magic Festival.

New-York based Australian actors Luke Edward Smith and Chelsea Ingram are set to star in the Australian premiere of Ingram’s thrilling, provocative play, KEEP CALLING, running 13-17 Sept late show at the PACT Theatre Erskineville as part of the Sydney Fringe festival.

Stacey has been hiding out in her recently deceased father’s apartment. Wanting to avoid family issues, she has intentionally missed the funeral and the wake.
Her estranged elder brother Sam comes to find her and try to pull her back to reality - but it won’t be without a fight.
This is the first time the siblings have been alone together in fifteen years and – forced to discuss their childhood and bingeing
on their father’s booze and drugs they find in his apartment - the past slowly seeps out… with all its shocking secrets..

Luke Edward Smith was raised in Camden, NSW and was a founding member of Twisted Tree Theatre in Sydney.
He now lives in New York City where he is a member of the Primitive Grace theatre ensemble. His theatre credits include Hamlet, Our Town, King John, Amadeus, The Private Ear, and Under Milkwood and he can be seen in the upcoming feature film To Tokyo.
