Resonance will present its third concert programme of 2014 with a recital dedicated to the exquisite music of Frédéric Chopin.

Join pianist Chris Cartner for a presentation which will feature some short narrations about Chopin and his life, as well as performances of some of his greatest works including the First Ballade, Waltz in C# minor, Etude in E major and Scherzo in C# minor.

Stop Press! Bob Carr – fresh from the release of his controversial autobiography - is the special interview guest on this month’s A RATIONAL FEAR, set for live broadcast in front of a comedy-mad theatre audience .

Dan Iliic and the ARF panel will grill the former federal Labor minister and NSW premier on foreign relations, ICAC... and pyjamas.

Comedian and broadcaster DAN ILIC (ABC-TV’s Hungry Beast and Ten Network’s Can of Worms) hosts the monthly fast-paced topical comedy panel show featuring some of the funniest brains in Australia.

With Dan and Bob Carr on Monday night 28 April are guests LEWIS HOBBA (Triple J, ABC-TV Spicks and Specs) comedy legend GREG FLEET, JAMES COLLEY (Junkee) and HANNAH MAY REILLY (Girls Gone Mild ). As usual, the show is held together by the musical stylings of DJ DYLABOLICAL.

A Rational Fear is 60 minutes of evidence-based shit stirring.

Experience a hugely original jazz/rock/improvisational trio
Felucca is a collective trio based in Sydney, Australia, formed in 2010. While all members are jazz trained, completing the Jazz Studies Course at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, their interest in musics such as rock and free improvisation have permeated both their original compositions and their live performances of this material.



Felucca strives for originality, spontaneity, groove and beauty in their music, constantly trying to blend the dark with the ethereal, the dense with the sparse, displaying the inquisitive energy and subversive ethos of its members. The ensemble’s treatment of melodic material is both supple and concise with a distinctive ‘stretching’ quality to it.

Tricia will sing in French,English,Creole & Portuguese.

A rising star on the world jazz scene, Tricia has worked extensively across Europe,including major festivals and venues such as Paris’ famous Duc des Lombards, and appearances at some of the EU’s biggest Jazz festivals and clubs including Jazz A Vienne, Montreaux Jazz festival, Bulach Jazz festival, Jazz Ascona, Martinique Jazz Festival, Jazz en Touraine & Orleon Jazz Festival, amongst many more.

Joining Tricia will be some of Sydney's hottest young musicians, including special guest Tricia's collaborator in the highly successful Billie, Ella and Louis show, singer-trombonist Dan Barnett.
