It’s the story of two boys, two fathers and two very different Jewish communities – 'five blocks and a world apart'.

Set against the backdrop of post-war USA, revelations of the Holocaust and the birth of Israel,
the story of The Chosen is essentially neither political nor religious but deeply human.

FIVE STUNNING YOUNG SINGERS SET TO SHINE IN IFAC AUSTRALIAN SINGING COMPETITION FINALS CONCERT

On Wednesday 30 July at The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood eleven outstanding young opera and classical singers all aged under 26 years sang their hearts out in front of National Adjudicator Jeffrey Black to be selected as one of five finalists who will compete in this year’s IFAC Australian Singing Competition.
This year there are two finalists from Victoria, 24 year old sopranos KATE AMOS and ANNA VOSHEGE, two sopranos from Western Australia, 23 year old SAMANTHA CLARKE and 24 year old CORINNE COWLING and 23 year old Soprano ISABELLA MOORE from New Zealand.
The five finalists will compete in the Finals Concert at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on SATURDAY 30 AUGUST.
