Jane Bell is a 32-year-old ex-corporate-ladder-climber and current kids’ party clown. A former engineer, competitive eater, winemaker, wedding planner, startup guru, astrophysicist, bartender and debt collector, Jane has done EVERYTHING – sloppily.

A mix of chaotic sketch comedy, stories, and stand-up, SLOPS explores the messy, disorganised, and frantic parts of us all – particularly for anyone who has ever wondered “Is this it?” after signing up for a 9-5 job with unpaid overtime, mountains of debt, and not enough skills to boil an egg.

But is a sloppy life a happy life? There’s only one way to find out. Slop your way through a quarter-life crisis with Jane Bell.

Jane Bell is a regular performer in the Melbourne comedy scene, currently in the midst of her fourth quarter-life crisis (assuming she'll live to 128). SLOPS is Jane’s debut solo show, premiering at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023.

“We have brand new night-time entertainment which is guaranteed to thrill. Be amazed by the gravity-defying stunts one of the world’s most daring escape artists, the bravery of the fire breathers, the acrobatic skills of the aerial web performer, and a spectacular drone display as they enter centre stage at the 2023 Show.
“There are also lots of agricultural and educational activities to choose from for every age group this year, including our new Ag Discovery pavilion and native animal display, oyster and prawn judging, and Little Hands on the Land.
“Rich in fun and family traditions, there really is something for everyone. Join us at the 2023 Sydney Royal Easter Show to make new memories and find your happy place.”
There are great savings to be made by purchasing tickets online early (until midnight on 5 April), with the price of pre-Show family passes at $106.
Tickets to the 2023 Show will be sold almost exclusively online and must be purchased for a specific day, with the event maintaining its daily capacity limit of 80,000 ticket holders. Public transportation is again included in the ticket price.
After 4pm tickets will only be available for online pre-purchase before midnight on 5 April.

Featuring a powerhouse of international superstars from around the globe, this family friendly show is ultra-high energy designed to appeal to audiences of all ages.
The mystic illusions, thrilling feats and wonderful moments of awe will have audiences on the edge of their seats. Circus Royale features the classic nostalgia of the circus and incorporates state-of-the-art advances in technology.
Circus Royale features Cassie Millard on the Swinging Trapeze, two-time world record holder and star performer on Australia’s Got Talent Olivia Barker with her contortion skills, Olivia Chircop up on the aerial net, and the show stopping feats of the Columbian daredevil Lion Brothers on the high-wire, wheel of steel and inside the motorcycle globe of death.
Founded in 1971 by the Swiss Gasser circus family, Circus Royale is one of Australia’s oldest circuses and is now owned by producer, and Ring Master Damian Syred. Damian is a first- generation circus director who acquired Circus Royale in 2007 at the age of only 23.
