Formed in NYC by Australian actors Jeremy Waters and Nick Stevenson, Outhouse Theatre Co had NYC critics’ tongues wagging after their sold out debut production, The Boys back in 2006.

With three US premieres of Australian plays under their belt, Outhouse return home for their inaugural Australian production, Four Places. Under the direction of Bad Boy Bubby’s Nicholas Hope and starring some of Sydney’s highest calibre actors, Four Places is a highly acclaimed, award- winning work from one of America’s most compelling playwrights.

E. Kats-Chernin – The Spirit and the Maiden
C. Saint-Saens – Danse Macabre

The Reservoir Trio return with a programme which explores music inspired by both our earth and the world of the supernatural.

Beethoven's D major trio has acquired the nickname "Ghost" based on its "strangely scored and undeniably eerie-sounding slow movement". Its outer movements are, however, completely typical of Beethoven's 'middle period', and consist of music which is earthly and absolutely human.

Sydney-based composer Elena Kats-Chernin chose the piano trio configuration for her piece which tells the legend of "The Spirit and the Maiden", and the Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens depicts the gruesome scene in which, at midnight, the skeletons of the dead rise from their graves and dance to Death's demonic tune.

Beethoven Triple with Asia Pacific Competition Winners!
In July 2013, the Lyrebird Trio beat contestants from around Australia and the Asia Pacific Region to win both piano trio prizes at the quadrennial Asia Pacific Chamber Music Competition.

Featuring principal musicians from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, The Lyrebird Trio have already delivered performances across Australia and internationally.
On August 2nd they will appear for the first time ever with full orchestra to perform Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO).
ET Concert 3 will open with Mozart’s popular and energetic Le Nozze di Figaro Overture and close with Dvorak’s cheerful and optimistic Symphony No 8 continuing TMO’s astonishing sell-out MET Concert season with Australia’s finest chamber trio.

In 1993 West Memphis, Arkansas was rocked by the brutal murder of three eight year old boys. The police very quickly accused three teenagers, claiming they had killed the children as part of a satanic ritual. DEVIL'S KNOT chronicles this harrowing true story from the perspective of one of the mothers, Pam Hobbs (Reese Witherspoon) and the investigator for the accused boys' defence team, Ron Lax (Colin Firth). Whilst the parents and the community struggle to cope with the heinous nature of this crime and call out for those responsible to be brought to justice, Lax discovers that the prosecutorial case is based entirely on circumstantial evidence and prejudicial assumptions about the accused teenagers' love of goth culture and heavy metal music.
