Disney’s Cinderella is a story for the ages, and Sydney audiences have the opportunity to see this masterpiece at one of Australia’s most enchanting and historical theatres, the State Theatre.

After recently being named in a list of the world’s most spectacular theatres by CNN, the State Theatre is the perfect venue for an unprecedented week long preview event of Disney’s Cinderella which will screen daily from Thursday 19th March to Wednesday 25th March at 7pm, with matinees on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd March.
Featuring Australia’s very own Cate Blanchett in the role of the Stepmother and the beautiful Lily James as Disney’s most iconic princess Cinderella, Walt Disney Pictures and critically acclaimed director Kenneth Branagh bring the classic tale of Cinderella to the big screen in a way audiences have never seen or experienced before.

In a special treat for Anna and Elsa fans, audiences will also see an exclusive short film Frozen Fever before the main feature. Frozen Fever will also screen prior to Disney’s Cinderella when it opens in cinemas nationally on 26th March.
Immerse yourself in the magical world of Cinderella with an array of activities to enjoy prior to the screening including the opportunity to pose for that quintessential Cinderella moment with the glass slipper.

CAROUSEL at Sutherland Entertainment Centre.

Named in 1999 by Time magazine as the finest musical of the 20th century, Carousel has played
thousands of Broadway and West End performances including famous recent revivals.

From the magical evocation of the carousel in the overture to the majestic and moving strains of the immortal
"You'll Never Walk Alone", this giant of the musical stage remains timeless and star-bright.
Other well-loved songs include "Mister Snow", "If I Loved You", "June is Bustin' Out All Over"
and "When the Children Are Asleep".

The poignant story of the faithful Julie and her brutish husband Billy is one of the
most powerful books of the musical theatre and perfectly matches its extraordinary score.
It features the famous ‘bench scene’ (culminating in the song "If I Loved You”)
which Stephen Sondheim has described as "probably the single
most important moment in the evolution of contemporary musicals".
Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand & Sammy Davis Jr all recorded celebrated versions of the song.

A performance like no other, 360 ALLSTARS reinvents the traditional circus by presenting contemporary performance styles instead of conventional circus art forms. Replace acrobats with break dancers, substitute a basketball freestyler in place of a juggler, swap the unicyclist for a BMX flatlander, and exchange the hoop act for a Roue Cyr artist, and you get an exhilarating circus performance like nothing you have seen before!

And with live music from award-winning master musicians and “ringmasters”, Gene Peterson and Sam Perry, 360 ALLSTARS is as aurally exciting as it is visually astounding. Featuring artists from UK, Europe, America, Australia & NZ, the performance is a spectacular, colourful and audibly exciting expression of a generation that has reinvented public performance.

Fusing amazing physical skills with the extraordinary artistry that emerges from urban culture, 360 ALLSTARS is a revolutionary production that will leave you dizzy with excitement!

The 360 ALLSTARS crew will also be running workshops after school on Tuesday March 24 from 4pm-5pm at various local venues. Workshops include BMX Flatlanding, Found Sound, Breakdancing, Freestyle Basketballing, and Circus. Please note different workshops are suitable for different ages and abilities. Workshop sizes are strictly limited, so get in quick.

Throughout the day, there are interactive and experiential workshops, local live music and stage performances, fashion designs and artwork, meditations, sound healings, body movement classes, access to a selection of treatments and readings, and gorgeous natural and handcrafted products.
