Blast off and rock out with The Cambodian Space Project, on a trip that is simply out of this world, in Cosmic Cambodia: a high energy, sci-fi psychedelic funky rock’n’roll cabaret take on a Phnom Penh karaoke bar.

This extraordinary band has been at the forefront of an astonishing cultural revival in Cambodia, since singer Channthy Kak and musician Julien Poulson teamed up, to sing back to life the lost divas and rock legends of Cambodia’s golden age of music, all but wiped out by the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime.


The Cambodian Space Project sound is definitely for the 21st century, mashing tradition with rock’n’roll, rare groove, soul, and trippy visual spectacle, with reimagined Khmer classics alongside new songs like Not

Easy Rock’n’roll and Have Visa, No Have Rice. Come see why the mix has wowed audiences in bars, rock festivals and theatres across Asia, Europe and Australia, and led to collaborations with the likes of Paul Kelly, Motown legend Denis Coffey, and The Herd MC Ozi Battla (Astronomy Class).

FROM THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS STAGE!

Returning to Rome from a war against the Goths, the general Titus Andronicus brings with him the queen Tamora and her three sons as prisoners of war. Titus’ sacrifice of Tamora’s eldest son to appease the ghosts of his dead sons and his decision to refuse to accept the title of emperor initiates a terrible cycle of mutilation, rape and murder. And all the while, at the centre of the nightmare, there moves the villainous, self-delighting Aaron.

Grotesquely violent and daringly experimental, Titus Andronicus was the smash hit of Shakespeare’s early career, and is written with a ghoulish energy he was never to repeat elsewhere. This production revisited director Lucy Bailey’s spectacular Globe production of 2006 and caused a stir throughout the UK media with staged violence so visceral that it caused many audience members to faint. The 2015 cinema release will have audiences on the edges of their seats from start to grisly end.

A young couple are moving into their new home.
A soldier is being held hostage.
Two boys are searching for monsters.

All these events are connected by both family and time ... but what story can be told when family and time are broken?
Covering the space of 12 years, Shivered unpicks the story of two families and then re-weaves it into something new and startling.
Seven people, one war, a derelict car plant and mysterious lights in the sky ... all come together in Draylingstowe, Essex, where the view from green hills once offered hope and prosperity for all.

Mad March Hare Theatre Company is an emerging, exciting addition to the Sydney independent theatre scene. Their brand of dynamic, artist-driven theatre was most recently seen in the acclaimed revival of Jonathan Gavin’s A Moment on the Lips at the Old Fitzroy Theatre in 2014.
Now they bring their unique style to bear on the work of one of the great writers of contemporary British theatre – Philip Ridley (Tender Napalm, Vincent River, Piranha Heights, Mercury Fur) – with this Australian premiere of his 2012 play Shivered.

Shivered is about fragmentation, about the break-up of families, friendships and community, and the shattering of certainties between reality and fantasy. Seventeen brilliantly linked scenes are performed non-chronologically, moving back and forth in time, painfully piecing together the shards of glass.
