It begins like a fairytale...
On a hot summers day in Flaming Tree Grove Ruby Moon was 6 years old when she set off to visit her grandma, but never returned Time has passed and Ray and Sylvie Moon, Ruby’s distraught parents are still searching for answers.

Hoping to trigger someone’s memory of having seen Ruby the couple keep a child mannequin outside their home, who is dressed in the same ruby red dress Ruby was last seen in.

They are ready to give up hope, until the arm of Ruby's doll turns up in their letterbox.
They interrogate their oddball neighbours, all of whom behave suspiciously, to uncover any information that can help them answer the question, where’s the pretty girl?

Written by Matt Cameron this play is performed by only 2 actors. The play is one act and will have no interval.

As Ursula and Janet nurse him back to health, the handsome stranger’s presence stirs up long dormant emotions of love lost…and love never found. Set in the long shadow of World War I, this tender tale blooms like a late summer rose.
