In LAST CAB TO DARWIN, Jeremy Sims (Beneath Hill 60) directs Australian acting legends, Michael Caton and Jacki Weaver against the backdrop of the stunning Australian outback and alongside the outstanding Mark Coles Smith, Ningali Lawford-Wolf and Emma Hamilton.

Caton gives the performance of a lifetime as Rex, a Broken Hill cab driver who, when told he doesn’t have long to live, sets out on an epic journey to Darwin in a bid to die on his own terms.
Along the way he discovers that before you can end your life you have to live it, and to live it you have to share it.

Filled with hope, humour and heart, LAST CAB TO DARWIN takes us on a journey, reminding us that it’s never too late to start living.

Four short plays by Samuel Beckett
The evening will see four short plays by Samuel Beckett performed alongside one another with no interval.

'Quad' is a dangerous piece reduced to a mathematical formula, where four faceless players move to avoid collision.
'Rockaby', a female monologue rocking back and forth between obsession with isolation, observation and death.
'Come & Go' has been described as the perfect ensemble piece where three women gossip about the past, present and future.
'Catastrophe' is arguably Beckett’s most political piece written for political prisoner Václav Havel, it depicts a strict final rehearsal for a one man play.

The performance will also include an interactive element in the foyer, commenting on the posthumous impact Samuel Beckett has on his work and his consistent observation of time.
