Steve Balbi - Black rainbow concert
Steve Balbi is set to revisit his sensational debut solo album BLACK RAINBOW with a new re-worked version, RAINBOW BLACK [the surreal edition] along with a show at the Sydney Opera House on Black Friday May 13.

"Its good to be alive" is the catch phrase which has been earned by this singer songwriter, a man deeply respected in the Australian music scene for the legacy he has created, from bands such as The Electric Hippies, Noiseworks, Move Trees and more... but none more than his solo offerings and performances that have transcended and moved audiences new and old all around the world.

With his recent signing to Golden Robot Records he has decided to totally rework this 2012 eclectic album where he lays his art and soul bare for your interpretation, and gives his loyal fans a new surreal version of this work that is sure to run deep into their sub conscious as only Steve Balbi can.



This event is not to be missed, and this new release must be heard. Expect the unexpected but as usual Steve will take you one song at a time to the place, where people together with passion and love of music can change the world, even if it's just for one night.



Special guests for the Sydney Opera House show will be Golden Robot Records new signings Nick Barker and Justin Garner (The Heartache State).

Everything In The Garden Quick Tix

There is a serpent lurking in that Garden of Eden
Jenny and Richard are happily married in the days of stay-at-home wives, unworried smoking, hats, gloves, and only ‘nice’ sex within marriage. They have just moved to a more expensive house in the suburbs, private schools and country clubs. They have a paradise for a garden, but as the story goes, there is also a serpent lurking in that Garden of Eden – with the biggest temptation of all: money. Then Albee lets the happy comedy turn to a savage indictment of a hypocritical society that pretends virtue but practices all the vices that will make them rich and richer. Perhaps there is no deity to throw them from the garden, just a drunken, powerless watcher who may not survive the fray.
