Nick and Colby are expecting their first baby together - to complete their perfect lives.
But when the baby arrives it's severely disfigured and deformed, sending Colby into a spiral of denial
and leaving Nick alone in his own deluded thoughts.
Nick's brother Pete decides to give him a work project that keeps Nick away from home for longer and longer each day, leaving Colby stuck in the house 24/7 and feeling no connection with her child.
Then the child begins to communicate with Colby in frightening ways…

is a very dark comedy about all the twists and turns life throws at us and our pre-conceived notions of parenthood.

took on the challenge of becoming an international globe-trotting comedian, but 5 years on how does it feel to still be “living the dream”? And what next for a creative mind with half the world left to explore?

Sam’s show is all about the thoughts, decisions and choices we make to set us on the right path, to live out our dreams… and become a fuller version of ourselves. It all starts with our thoughts and as he suggests it’s really never too late!

Return Fire Productions is pleased to present the world premiere of Senior Moments, a comedy revue with a deliciously funny and fresh collection of comic senior moments, sketches and songs. A seriously funny cast who are old enough to know better make wicked fun of the trials and tribulations of growing old disgracefully. Glen Street Theatre in Sydney’s north will house the debut season of this tongue-in-cheek comedy from May 26 this year.
Light-hearted, fun and a little bit naughty whilst always remaining nice, Senior Moments features sketches such as ‘Senior Mastermind’ and ‘Old School’ (Romper Room meets Play School for the neglected over-65 age group), and musical highlights like ‘I Am the Very Model of a Modern Age Retiree’. At last audiences young and old can have some Senior Moments they’ll want to remember!
Senior Moments features a cast of veteran performers including Penny Cook (A Country Practice, Ladies in Lavender), Lex Marinos (Kingswood Country, The Slap), Benita Collings (Play School, Sleeping Beauty), John Derum (The Aunty Jack Show, A Sentimental Bloke), and Russell Newman (Fireflies, Dirty Dancing), with younger performers Nicola Parry (Thank God You’re Here, The Hollowmen) and Christian Barratt-Hill (The Jesters, Packed to the Rafters). Former Channel 9 musical director and Midday maestro Geoff Harvey will join the cast on piano.
Writer/producers Kevin Brumpton and Angus FitzSimons have been writing comedy and satire together for over fifteen years. They wrote and produced two series of the comedy The Jesters, starring Mick Molloy, Susie Porter and Deborah Kennedy, which was nominated for an AWGIE award for Best Situation or Narrative Comedy Writing. Having honed their gag writing skills for radio legend Doug Mulray, their television writing credits include Good News Week, The Chaser’s CNNNN, and the off-beat SBS comedy Life Support, as well as being Head Writers on the long-running Comedy Inc.

Two of the most monumental works for the piano in a one-hour concert followed by drinks.
Resonance concerts are fabulous, one-hour events which highlight some of the world's greatest music, performed by leading singers and instrumentalists from Sydney and beyond. They are followed by complimentary drinks.

This month, two of the most monumental piano sonatas in history are brought to the stage by pianist Chris Cartner.

Beethoven’s ‘Appassionata’ (meaning ‘passionate’) is a work which sums up the depth of his personality: a world-changing sonata of humanity, rage, love and deep emotional impact.

The second half features the third (and final) piano sonata by Brahms. Truly a ‘symphony for the piano’, the work contains arguably some of the greatest melodic material of the 19th Century. From its devastating opening, through a profoundly beautiful second movement and a wild ‘scherzo’, the finale is almost cinematic in scope. The sonata remains one of the highlights of the entire piano repertoire.
