Calling all cool mums and comedy connoisseurs, the quintessential 2000s cult classic Mean Girls is headed to Moonlight Cinema for a special pink charity screening this February.

Screening in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney on February 19, audiences are encouraged to get into the spirit by dressing in their most vibrant pink couture to raise awareness and money for The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

Relive the perfection of endlessly quotable one-liners, written by none other than Tina Fey, and played out on screen by the legendary Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert & Amanda Seyfried.

If pink is not your colour, don’t worry you can still sit with us but Moonlight does encourage you to bring a donation.

Shakespeare may be turning in his grave, but this show (which has become a cult classic) contains all 37 of his plays - and sonnets - in just 97 minutes! Described by the Los Angeles Herald as “Shakespeare written by Reader's Digest, acted by Monty Python and performed at the speed of the minute waltz”, this hilarious binge of Bard - coming to Sydney courtesy of Lane Cove Theatre Company - is part parody, part tribute, part party trick!

As the comedies aren’t anywhere near as funny as the tragedies, all sixteen have been condensed into ‘Four Weddings and a Transvestite’, the history plays are transformed into a game of football, Othello is performed in rap and Titus Andronicus becomes a TV cookery programme.
For the finale, Hamlet is staged first as a psychological exploration of Hamlet’s Ego and Ophelia’s Id, then performed in a matter of minutes and, for the finale, performed backwards.

A brilliant, multi-talented cast of Eleanor Petricevic, Luke W Shepherd and Logan McArthur are directed through this comic caper by Jess Davis (Manhole, Broken, The Unexpected Guest, The Female of the Species).
