A grown-up story about growing up
After its spectacular debut with Hot Shoe Shuffle (starring Daryl Somers) and the sell-out success of cheeky Keating: The Musical, Sydney’s freshest independent musical theatre company Birdie Productions now steps up the energy with the cultish hit teen musical: 13 – the first ever Broadway show to feature an all-child cast and band.

With wit and searing honesty, 13 is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages. Featuring an explosive rock score by celebrated composer Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World) and performed by an astonishing cast of young Sydney actors, 13 is about growing up, dealing with change and learning that becoming who you want to be starts with discovering who you are.

A young woman's privacy is shattered when comprising pictures are posted on the internet.
HANDLE IT
How many times have we shuddered at the thought of the perils that face people growing up in an age dominated by the internet? A time when bullying can follow you everywhere and mistakes are forever...

In Handle It we meet Kelsey Armitage, an eighteen year old university student whose life is turned upside down when compromising pictures of her are posted on Facebook. From here the play explores the Generation Y experience of intimacy in a world where the internet shapes relationships, pornography is everywhere and young women do their best to cope.

No words can describe the naïve simplicity of in Mozart’s Piano Trio in C, nor the deep emotion felt when listening to Mendelssohn’s beautiful Piano Trio in D minor, nor the solemn tragedy of Smetana’s dramatic Piano Trio in G minor. Let these pieces move, transfix and transport you to another world in a way that only music can.

AAT Kings presents Kids For Kids Day charity event on Saturday 19th September 2015, a fun-filled family day out at Featherdale Wildlife Park, proudly supporting the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and their commitment to keeping kids safe.

Held at Featherdale Wildlife Park you'll get a hands on wildlife experience and a fun filled family day out.
Plus there will be lots of special activities, face painting, animal encounters, entertainment, and over $5000 in raffle prizes to be won!

Kids for Kids Day follows National Child Protection Week and aims to help educate children, families and the community about child protection and support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation's message of keeping kids safe. Important child safety messages will be presented throughout the day with resources for everyone to take home, so it will be educational too (just don’t tell the kids)!

Your ticket includes entry to Featherdale Wildlife Park, a sausage sizzle lunch, showbag, T shirt for each child, education resources and more.
Optional return coach transfers are included from Sydney Central YHA, Macquarie train station or Blacktown train station (with AM or PM departures), or you can make your own way to Featherdale and meet us there.
