And as the big final show in our 30th Anniversary year, we promise to present the craziest and most ridiculous OPENING CEREMONY ever seen in Australia! Take that, Olympic Games! Boom!

After months of knock-em-down and laugh-em-out Heats and Semi-Finals, the last remaining teams, the best of the best, compete in this final night of ad-libbed sketches, mind-bending challenges, operas, soap operas from around the world – anything goes! And all of it is made up on the spot and based on suggestions from the audience.

Past champions have included stars like Julia Zemiro, Josh Lawson, Jay Laga’aia, Andrew O’Keefe and Andrew Denton. Cheer your favourite team! Boo the judges! Shout out suggestions from the audience! Funnier and more exciting than Whose Line is it Anyway? and Thank God You’re Here! Combined.

The Schools Spectacular is an outstanding showcase of the talent in NSW public schools.
In terms of sheer size, scale and scope, the Schools Spectacular is unequaled in the world.
The cast of the Schools Spectacular is comprised of 3,600 of the state’s most talented singers, dancers and musicians.
An extensive audition process is carried out across the state to bring together the 1,300 voice choir, 80 piece orchestra, 2,000 dancers and talented soloists from ages 5 to 18 who will feature in this dazzling display of music, dance and pageantry.

Students from more than 400 public schools across NSW rehearse for months in preparation for four fantastic shows over two days and nights.

Hilarious Jewish Comedy Comes to Sydney
Following two sell-out seasons in Melbourne, ‘Los Trios Amigos’ bring their hilarious show YOU’RE DRIVING ME CRAZY! to Sydney from the 24th to 29th November at the Bondi Pavilion Theatre. It’s bigger than “Ben Hurvitz” and funnier than “The Producers”. Don’t miss it!

You’re Driving me Crazy! by Melbourne comedian and GP Jack Felman, is a rib-tickling insight into the modern Jewish family, starring Lena Fiszman, Allen Brostek and Felman himself.

This talented trio have been entertaining Australian audiences for the past 15 years. Their previous shows Laugh Till You Cry, Don’t Teach Me - I’m Perfect and Born Guilty have all been sell-out hits and they are due to appear in the inaugural Melbourne Jewish Comedy Festival in October.

Meet four generations of the Pszeszekowski family as they drive each other absolutely meshugah (crazy). Sound familiar? For starters there’s Mania and Velvel, Holocaust survivors both, trying to understand their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in an ever-changing world. There’s acerbic sister Bronia, cheeky son Allen… and the whole wacky mishpocheh (family).

Unbeknownst to school teacher Neil Clarke (Pegg), a group of eccentric aliens decide to place the fate of humanity in his hands.
In order to determine if they should destroy the Earth or not, the aliens endow Neil with the ability to make ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING he wishes for happen.

Once Neil realises that he has these new special powers, it takes him more than a few goes (and gives us more than a few laughs) to try and get the hang of it - all the while the aliens are watching. Will he prove a worthy representative or doom the earth to annihilation?
