Champagne Showgirls are pushing the envelope with a modern version of cabaret and burlesque, showcasing a tantalising splash of dance, circus and live music. In a night celebrating all things CHEEK! Champagne Showgirls takes you on a journey throughout history, flaunting the old with the new, in a spectacular array of glitz and glamour.

AMAZING. Every minute had my full attention. Hands down the best show I have ever seen (outside of fringe included) Heart racing. Captivating. A must see!

CHEEK offers a master class variety of performances, with a phenomenal cast who are multi-talented within the areas of entertainment. Join Matilda Simcock (BHons in Jazz Performances, playing in Paris and New York) and her right hand man, Jayden Blockley on the Sax (Lead and produced debut album at age of 20 for ABC jazz record label) as they take you on a musical journey off all things CHEEK.

Champagne explains “Due to current international travel restrictions, I want to bring Cabaret Cheek with that world class feel right here to Perth. Each performer has been hand-picked for your viewing pleasure”.

Irish Film Festival

This year the festival will be online across Australia
Winner will be emailed a link for your tickets, the pass is for 3 films.

In light of the uncertainty surrounding the current pandemic and to deliver our festival program in the safest way possible, we've decided to run this year’s festival online.

The 2021 program boasts seven Australian premieres, including Wildfire, Broken Law, Deadly Cuts, The Bright Side, Phil Lynott: Songs For While I'm Away, Áine Tyrell - Irish Troubadour and Finding Jack Charlton.

We're amplifying the voices of women, with films by female Directors: The Bright Side by Ruth Meehan, A Bump Along the Way by Shelly Love, Wildfire by Cathy Brady, Deadly Cuts by Rachel Carey and Phil Lynott - Songs For While I'm Away, directed by Emer Reynolds. Furthermore, there’s a strong focus on themes such as breast cancer and surviving male violence.

Festival award-winners include the stunning animation from Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon, Wolfwalkers, and Cathy Brady’s feature debut, Wildfire, for which she won Best Director at this year’s Irish Film & Television Awards (IFTAs), where Nika McGuigan was posthumously awarded Best Lead Actress.

Two exceptional documentaries explore a couple of Ireland’s greatest singer/songwriters:
Thin Lizzy frontman, Phil Lynott: Songs For While I'm Away, by Emmy-winning Director and multiple award-winning Editor Emer Reynolds (presented in partnership with Long Play Music Films); and Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan, the cinematic exploration of MacGowan’s life and career by iconic music Director Julien Temple (The Filth & The Fury, The Great Rock & Roll Swindle).

Another festival must-see is the hilarious black comedy, Deadly Cuts, from up-and-coming Director Rachel Carey.

Audiences will also have exclusive behind-the-scenes access to films via our famous Q&A sessions with Dr Enda Murray and a selection of our films’ Directors and cast.

The music for EMERGE focuses on the enormous stylistic shift that occurred in the second half of the 18th century, when composers such as Haydn and Mozart were moving away from the strict formality of the Baroque era, creating a more melodic, expressionistic style.
