Magician & Wordsmith Adam Axford has been mastering his craft for 20+ years, and finally brings his mind-blowing fusion of rhyme & illusion to Sydney Fringe.
Combining sleights and misdirection with golden-era hiphop lyricism, this show exists somewhere between illmatic and real magic.
“Imagine David Blaine meets Dr. Seuss, directed by Guy Ritchie”
Growing up working on an East London street market, Adam swaps his stall for a stage in this vulnerable unveiling of obsessions and life-lessons, condensed into tricks and verses.
With a résumé boasting magic performances at Dave Chappelle’s penthouse party, creative workshops at Google HQ, and commissioned slam-poetry for Michelin, Adam Axford’s Magic Words may forever change the way you think about language.
