Synopsis: THE POUT-POUT FISH is the story of an unlikely duo: Mr. Fish (Offerman), a pouty recluse, and Pip (Oyama), a high-energy sea dragon. When catastrophe strikes, they must embark on a daunting, undersea quest in search of a fabled mythical fish to grant their wish to save their homes.

Kicking off in Melbourne on 6 December and heading to Newcastle, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Canberra, the show promises a spellbinding experience for
audiences of all ages.

This high-energy festive extravaganza blends dazzling circus acts, grand illusions, spectacular dance numbers and timeless Christmas music. Think Radio
City Rockettes meets The Nutcracker, with a little Las Vegas sparkle and plenty of heart.
The shining star of the night is host Prinnie Stevens. Rising to fame on The Voice
Australia, Prinnie leads audiences through a musical journey of festive favourites
with her powerhouse renditions of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”
and “Joy to the World”.

Audiences will be entranced by Australia’s Got Talent finalist Michael Boyd, one of
the country’s top illusionists. His spectacular illusions, mind-boggling disappearances
and captivating stage personality delight viewers of all ages.
Also featured is world-class circus artist Aleisha Manion, who defies gravity with a polished, smooth, and perfectly timed aerial routine. Her breathtaking act adds an extra layer of wonder to a show already brimming with magic, music, and movement.

Throughout the play, characters find themselves embroiled in humorous scenarios as they navigate the conflicts arising from the nuns’ clandestine operations.

• The TT Boys (America’s Got Talent semi-finalists) flip and fly as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
• The Ramadhani Brothers (AGT 2024 grand finalists) perform their extraordinary balancing act as the Red and White Knights.
• Mongolian contortionists bring the mystical Caterpillar to life through an optical illusion of twisting and bending bodies.

Returning to Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre from 5 December, the must-see festive show will present its NSW premiere at Sydney’s Darling Quarter Theatre from 27 November, with a Queensland premiere season playing at Brisbane Showgrounds from 11 December. The East Coast tour follows a fan-favourite Australian premiere in Melbourne last year, that saw audiences falling out of their seats with laughter, with some returning multiple times to spread the Christmas joy.
