Win a double pass to esoteric at the Melb Fringe Festival
"What if the world was run by angelic light? Love, unconditional love. Non-judgement. Love your fellow man to the truest sense of the word. Imagine that. Living in a world like that. "

There's just one obstacle: The deep state superpowers. They run the world and fill our minds with the latest Kardashian scandal, Royal weddings, they'll even break up a boy band if it keeps us distracted from the truth. That's what Jayden is fighting against.

Previously titled 'Q', Esoteric is a verbatim theatre piece that explores our lives in relation to the current mainstream media narrative through the lens of free thinkers and conspiracy theorists.

Reid creates unique boutique performances combining dance, physical theatre and video projection in unusual locations, including underground tunnels, train carriages and convent hallways. Her new work, “Cabin Fever,” originally set in a cabin in a caravan park for Adelaide Fringe, is now re-developed within a 1978 Viscount Explorer caravan for a maximum of 8 audience members. This woman is in search of a community that she can touch and play cards with—harking back to the ancient connections of ritual and risk and dancing up her ancestors—illuminated by the fluorescent hues of the mid 1970’s. Accompanying this solo is an original soundtrack collaged and manipulated by Dianne with contributions by Adelaide composer/musicians Stuart Day and Heather Frahn. Expect to move and be moved in this half hour encounter with a woman contemplating escape.

The Diary Of Anne Frank

Event Date: 16/09/2019, 08:15 pm

Castle Hill Players present The Diary of Anne Frank by Goodrich & Hackett
After an incredible tour of duty with the C Company of Biloxi Blues, the Castle Hill Players follow up with the unforgettable and touching story of Anne Frank.

The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett plays at the Pavilion Theatre, Castle Hill from 20 September to 12 October.

Anne Frank’s voice and words continue to resonate through the ages. Goodrich and Hackett’s extraordinary Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning adaptation of Anne Frank’s remarkable diary and life in the secret annex is suspenseful, surprisingly humorous and heart-warming.
We discover hope and courage during a time of unimaginable horrors.

With the help of the underground, The Franks, van Daans and Mr Dussel survive for over 2 years in hiding.
We witness their claustrophobia, their everyday struggles, family feuds, a budding first love and the growth of a girl becoming a young woman.

This unforgettable story invites us to reflect upon our humanity and choices. It’s one we must continue to tell.

The Diary of Anne Frank will be directed by Castle Hill Players stalwart Faith Jessel.
Faith has graced the Pavilion Stage as an actress and was last seen in Dark Voyager as Bette Davis.
Faith says The Diary is a beautifully written, award-winning play.
“But first and foremost, it’s a story about sharing and honouring the history of Anne Frank and the wider Jewish community.”

Faith has been supporting her wonderfully talented and empathetic cast and crew with expert advisers
in bringing this famous story and its people to the stage with authenticity, compassion and respect.

The Diary of Anne Frank stars Genevieve Papadopoulos as Anne with Dave Kirkham, Judy Jankovics, Brittany Macchetta, Kim Schad, David Schad, Yarno Rohling, David Hill, Kristina Ulich and Nick Horshe.

The Pavilion Theatre is located within the Castle Hill Showground, ad
