Ticket Wombat is an event promotion website. Event organisers and promoters can use the website to advertise their events for free.

Ticket Wombat introduces people to new events and experiences that they might not normally attend.

Welcome to Ticket Wombat. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and have a free night out on the Wombat. Please take the time to read these Terms and Conditions which, together with our Privacy Policy, apply to your use of the Ticket Wombat website. These terms will be updated regularly so please check back for future changes.
Using the Site
Your access to, and use of Ticket Wombat is for your personal use only. You can only access the site through your account, you can not hold more than one account and you can not enter draws through other accounts, including family members. Only 2 people per household can have an account, unless the occupants of the household are not family members.
You can use the site in different ways, you can:
Enter free draws (we call you our Discovery Members)
Pay for our additional service which includes: Quick Tix (Free tickets), help with obtaining extra tickets to events you have won. (We call you our City Explorers) By paying for this additional service from us you will have access to all the Ticket Wombat draws.
Quick Tix
Quick Tix will appear as events on Ticket Wombat and be clearly marked as Quick Tix. They are only available to City Explorers.
Quick Tix are not draws and not related to draws. Eligible users simply click on the Quick Tix button and instantly receive a double pass for the selected event. The availability of Quick Tix is determined on a “first come, first served” basis.
By becoming a City Explorer you can receive one double every 30 days. The value of this double pass will be higher than the monthly cost of $4.90. Ticket Wombat will endeavour to provide equal or more tickets than there are City Explorers. The site will reveal how many tickets are available to selected events and how long the offer to get these tickets is available. These tickets are covered by the same Terms and Conditions as the tickets that are won.
Conditions of Entry

The agencies or companies (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) who have provided tickets for the Prize draws are not permitted to enter the Prize draw they have provided the tickets for, however they are permitted to enter draws not associated with their company or agency.
Date and Time for Entries and Entry Limitations
The draws will commence as soon as they appear on the Ticket Wombat website. Every draw has a timer giving an exact count down to the close of the draw for that event.
All entries must be received during the competition period for each draw as published on the Ticket Wombat website. There is no limit on the number of free draws you can enter. However, you are only permitted to enter each draw once.

You will receive immediate confirmation of your entry on the Ticket Wombat website. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Ticket Wombat website database and not at the time of submission by you.

How Prizes are Awarded
The winners will be chosen at random by the Ticket Wombat website, which will be checked by Ticket Wombat staff.
Method for Claiming Prizes
All winners must notify (by clicking accept in the win confirmation email) Ticket Wombat whether they wish to claim their prize or not. This must be done within 24 hours of receiving the email notification.
Once your prize is confirmed you will either receive an eTicket from the event organiser or you will be able to claim your tickets from the event organiser/ box office, up to 30 minutes before the event takes place. You will need to take some form of ID with you. Passing on or selling your winning tickets is strictly forbidden.

Winners will be published in the Ticket Wombat eNewsletters
Prizes
The prize for each competition will be a double pass (2 tickets, so you can take a friend or family member with you to the event). The value of the double pass for each event, will be published on the Ticket Wombat website. No double pass will exceed the value of $250 and the prize pool will be capped at $50,000.
Each prize is non-transferable, and must be used on the date specified on the website and in the Winner’s Notification. There is no cash alternative.
If the event to which you have won tickets is cancelled after the draw has taken place it is up to the promoter/organiser of that event to offer an alternative date to you.
Unclaimed and Rejected Prizes

All unclaimed prizes will be kept, the sponsor will be informed that the tickets were not given away and the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing will be notified that the tickets were unclaimed.
We strongly advise that the email address you give us to notify you when you win; is one that you can access at anytime.

General Information for Discovery and City Explorers
Under 18’sMost of the content on the Ticket Wombat website is suited for a general audience and is rated PG (parental guidance recommended). If it is for over 18's, we will endeavour to advertise it as such.
Your Account
You will need to set up an account with Ticket Wombat to be able to access or use the site and enter our free draws.
When you create your account you must give Ticket Wombat accurate up to date registration information including a valid email address, address and mobile number, as a minimum.
You must not impersonate the identity of someone else or register false details.
Ticket Wombat may refuse to accept your registration request and/or terminate your sign in or membership in our discretion and without notice including if your registration information is inaccurate or incomplete or if you use your login to disrupt or misuse Ticket Wombat’s services in any way.
Security of Account Details
You must keep your account details secure and must not disclose them (including any user name and /or password Ticket Wombat gives you) to anyone else. You must notify Ticket Wombat immediately if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorised use of your details.
Billing and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information to participate in Ticket Wombat. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and phone number, so that Ticket Wombat can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
The City Explorer Service will commence as soon as payment has been received. Payment is only required to access the Quick Tix and additional Services.
All payment transactions will be in Australian dollars.
All payments are made using a SSL 128 bit secured connection.
We accept payments made through Paypal.
Termination
You agree that Ticket Wombat may without notice terminate your account and access to it’s services without notice on any reasonable grounds including but not limited to:
requested by law enforcement authorities or agencies;
breach of these Terms of Use;
discontinuation of modifications to Ticket Wombat services;
technical issues or problems;
extended periods of account inactivity;
non-payment of any fess owed by you in relation to any services; and
where Ticket Wombat suspects you have used the services for a fraudulent or illegal purpose.
You may terminate your account at any time and monthly payments will cease, by logging into your account.
Refund Policy
City Explorers annual account can be cancelled at anytime. A refund will be given for the time remaining on your account. All refunds will be processed within 30 days.
Ticket Wombat Event Promotion
Ticket Wombat offers free online promotion for any ticketed event in return for a minimum of a double pass.
Ticket Wombat will promote events, attractions, courses, classes, tours and similar activities related to private education, pleasure, leisure or entertainment.
Event organisers, promoters, and similar parties, who provide tickets are hereby referred to as “Sponsors”.
Ticket Provision by Sponsors
Ticket Wombat will decide whether an event or Sponsor is eligible for promotion.
Sponsors are generally eligible for promotion by Ticket Wombat if they provide a minimum of two free tickets (a double-pass) for every event they want to promote.
The tickets provided must have a value attached and will be used to promote the Sponsor’s event.
Ticket Wombat will at no point charge commission or resell Prizes, though some tickets will be given away as part of the City Explorers Service.
Sponsor Promotion
Ticket Wombat will promote Sponsors and events through its website, newsletters and social media. This promotion is done at no cost to the Sponsor and based on the information posted by the Sponsor on www.TicketWombat.com.
Posting Events & Attractions
Eligible Sponsors will be able to use their secure user account to upload events, event dates and number of tickets in the draw. It is the Sponsor’s sole responsibility to provide the correct information for their event.
All events require approval by Ticket Wombat before they are available online. Ticket Wombat reserves the right to reject an uploaded event.
The content on the Ticket Wombat follows the Entertainment Industry code of Fair Practice. All content on the Ticket Wombat website is monitored.
Following is a list of the kind of content which is prohibited on the site. It includes content that:
is patently offensive to the online community, such as content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
could be harmful to minors;
harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters", or unsolicited mass mailing or "spamming";
promotes information that is false, misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libellous;
promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
displays pornographic material of any kind;
provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18.
Sponsor Notification of Winners
Due to second and third draws, there may be a time difference between the end of a Draw and the notification to the Sponsor. Therefore, it may take 48 hours or more until the Sponsor receives a confirmation email on whether a Prize has been allocated to a winner or if it remains unclaimed.
Ticket Claim by the Winner
Ticket Wombat is not responsible for the provision of Prizes unless a written agreement has been made with the Sponsor. Sponsors will receive the full name of the Prize winner and are to verify the correct ID of the winner.
Ticket Wombat recommends that the tickets for the winners should be available at the box office for pick-up shortly before the event to prevent the reselling of free tickets by a winner.
Disclaimer
Ticket Wombat is not responsible in any way for the running or organisation of the events advertised in the draws. If the event is cancelled it is up to the event organiser to inform the winners and make further arrangements. The event organisers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they upload to www.ticketwombat.com and the tickets they are giving away.
Ticket Wombat will monitor the draws and the information on the site to assure that tickets are valid and the draws are conducted in a fair manner according to the Trade Promotions Laws in each state.
Ticket Wombat is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, transmission interruption or otherwise.
If for any reason a competition is not capable of running as planned including; infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Ticket Wombat which would corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the draws, then Ticket Wombat will close the draw and inform the Sponsor that no winners were selected and notify the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing.
Ticket Wombat reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
Ticket Wombat assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
Ticket Wombat is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Ticket Wombat on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the draws.
Liability
Ticket Wombat excludes all liability to you (for the purpose of this clause, ‘you’ means users, subscribers, members and Sponsors of the Ticket Wombat website) or anyone else for loss or damage including, but not limited to, loss or damage you might suffer as a result of: errors, mistakes or inaccuracies on the website;
you acting, or failing to act, on any information contained on or referred to on the website and/or any linked website; personal injury or property damage of any nature resulting from your access to, and use of, the website;
defamatory, harmful, offensive or unlawful conduct of any user of the website;
any unauthorised access to or use of our secure servers and/or personal information and/or financial information stored on those servers; any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the website;
any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses or other malevolent code or communications which may be transmitted to or through our website by any third party; and/or any good or service of any linked sites. Ticket Wombat does not warrant, endorse, guarantee or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through the website or any linked website or featured in any banner or other advertising. Ticket Wombat will not be a party to or in any way responsible for monitoring any transaction between you and third party providers of products and services.
Indemnity
You (for the purpose of this clause, ‘you’ means users, subscribers, members and Sponsors of the Ticket Wombat portal or anyone else) will at all times indemnify, and keep indemnified, Ticket Wombat and it’s directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any loss (including reasonable legal costs and expenses on a full indemnity basis) or liability incurred or suffered by you or by Ticket Wombat arising from any claim, demand, suit, action or proceeding by any person against you or Ticket Wombat where such loss or liability arose out of, in connection with or in respect of your conduct or breach of this agreement.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF TICKET WOMBAT, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, TICKET WOMBAT RESERVES THE RIGHT
TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
